We offer this private tour without the time constraints of being on an organised tour, giving you more time to explore the sites that interest you the most as we travel around the Northern Half of Moreton Island. We travel along endless stretches of beaches and 4x4 through bush tracks to explore all the sites.
Experience North Point with its pristine surf, the overlapping waters of the Champagne Pools, a natural foaming ocean pool and the picture perfect scene of Honeymoon Bay.
Enjoy the magnificent views from the Cape Moreton Lighthouse where you may catch a glimpse of some Dolphins, Manta Rays, Turtles, Sea Birds and from June to October the Humpback Whale Migration.
Travel down the surfside 37kms of white sandy beach, 4wd through the sandy tracks of Moreton Island National Park. Take a splash in the Tea Tree Oil infused waters of Blue Lagoon leaving you feeling rejuvenated.

Champagne Pools Moreton Island


This tour is for the adrenaline seeker. Visit the huge sand blow at Moreton Islands very own desert and Whales on Moreton Islandexperience the thrill of sand tobogganing and the great views the desert has to offer, then take in the sites of the Northern end of Moreton Island encompassing North Point, The Champagne Pools, picturesque Honeymoon Bay, Historical Cape Moreton Light House, View the marine life from the rocky headland & whale watch (in season), Blue Lagoon a natural fresh water lake infused with tea tree oils, The Surfside of Moreton Island National Park, The Tangalooma Wrecks, WWII relics of Cowan Cowan and Bulwer which provide panoramic views back to the mainland and the Glass House Mountains.

Cape Moreton Lighthouse


For those already on the Island, you can join our daily scheduled Northern Safari departing at 8:30am daily with pickups at Tangalooma Resort and Bulwer or your location to see the most beautiful attractions around the northern half of Moreton Island.

Our 4wd Buses will take you along endless stretches of beaches surrounded by crystal clear blue waters and scenic offroad sand tracks through the bush to explore all the sights.

Travel from Tangalooma resort an old whaling station past Tangalooma wrecks 15 sunken ships which are full of marine & fish life, behind Cowan Cowan which has WWII relics and along the western beach with panoramic mainland views, then to Bulwer originally a pilot station for ships. Across the top of the island through coastal forests with a variety of bird life thriving on the wildflowers.
To North Point where its time for some morning/afternoon tea (included). See the Champagne Pools a natural foaming ocean pool amongst the rocks, then photograph Honeymoon Bay.
Next stop, Historical Cape Moreton Light House, great for viewing marine life & whale watching in season, with magnificent views across the island. Also visit the visitor centre to learn about the Islands history and see displays. Past the tea tree oil infused waters of Blue Lagoon as we travel along the Surfside, 37km of white sandy ocean beach where we will catch glimpses of Eagles, Kites and Oyster Catchers, then 4wd through the native vegetation of Moreton Island National Park across middle road back to your accommodation.
